Hudson Valley Historical Documents
Historical Documents provides the first hand accounts of the people who lived
in and influenced the events that took place in the Hudson River Valley.
This digital archive organizes material to allow scholars of all levels
to access primary manuscripts, images, letters, and maps that might not
otherwise be available. Documents in this section are catalogued in the
following areas of interests: Colonial America, Native Americans,
American Revolution,

The Historical Documents module currently focuses on manuscripts
from the American Revolution, most specifically from the Hudson River
Valley. The

of the American Revolution in New York will help you place the documents into
context.

will include manuscripts about the Hudson

about military affairs in the Hudson River Valley
show how vital the Hudson River was to success in the American Revolution.
