Student Slide Shows on Hudson Valley Art and Architecture

Thomas Cole, Catskill Scenery, 1833

These Student Slide shows were created as final projects for the Hudson River Valley Studies course offered by Marist College and taught by HRVI Director Colonel Jim Johnson. The students were divided into teams, each designated by different mascots and names. The final projects are slide shows about the Hudson Valley’s most famous Artists and Architects. Each slide show contains a brief biological sketch and it also contains pictures of the Artist’s or Architect’s work. Concluding the slide shows are lesson plans and travel itineraries to these historic sites.
