New York History Conference DEADLINE EXTENDED TO JANUARY 12

Call for proposals for this new annual history conference!

The New York History Conference is accepting proposals on roundtable discussions, panels, and educator workshops for the June 2024 conference in Albany: "New York History: Contact and Conflict." Proposals are due by January 1, 2024. Learn more about the theme and proposal guidelines here:

The New York State Museum, New York State Archives, and the New York State Archives Partnership Trust, in collaboration with the Hudson River Valley Institute at Marist College and the Cooperstown Graduate Program at SUNY Oneonta, are excited to announce the first annual New York State History Conference. The goal of the conference is to provide an inclusive and engaging forum in which historians, educators, museum professionals, archivists, and librarians can share research and resources on the practice, research, preservation, and teaching of New York State history.


When: June 20-21, 2024

Where: New York State Cultural Education Center, 222 Madison Avenue, Albany NY 12230
