We continue our 20th anniversary intern alum spotlights with Alyson (Dodge) Petrella, Marist ‘07.

Alyson majored in History and Secondary Education with a minor in Psychology and is a high school social studies teacher in Dutchess County. She shares the following experience from her time with HRVI:

"My best memories of interning at HRVI were working on the Teaching American History teacher seminars over the summer. It was great to meet current teachers and learn from their experience. It was also great to work with Teaching American History program coordinator Henrietta Mountz, Chris Pryslopski, and of course Colonel Johnson."

Read her full update here. This update, and all of the updates to be featured this year, will be linked to each alumni's name on the Interns page of the website.
