Can you share a memory from your time at HRVI that stands out as meaningful?

A deep appreciation and love for the history in the Hudson River Valley and the importance of preserving and protecting that for future generations. A day I will never forget is in the Spring of 2003 when we came together to reenact the chaining of the Hudson River. It was a wonderful event.

How has your experience at HRVI helped you advance your education and/or professional pursuits since graduating from Marist?

I gained a lot of experience as an intern at HRVI that I have utilized in my career. The importance of research, preservation, and community history to name a few. The dedication to a cause and the importance of volunteering and giving back are important lessons that I also learned while at HRVI.

Do you have any advice for future HRVI interns based on your time at HRVI and your experience in your professional field?

The research techniques you will learn through this internship will invaluable for any future roles you have.
